About The Band

They used to have this really catchy name, "Scarlett's" and all of a sudden, a few days before they sign the papers with T.S.O.E. label, they turn it to Thelma Blankenship. They said they had to do it because of some other "Scarletts" somewhere in the net, but i bet they did it because they were probably thinking that since their new wave electronic melodies are soon to be massive, they had to have a strange sound name in order to create confusion. I still remember the first time i heard "Dirty Feet" on a friend's car and my first thought was that these might be some of the most romantic lyrics a Greek elctro - pop band has ever written. For the record, the band with the New Order's first Factory releases sound, is the project of two best friends. George Gorgogetas and George Linas who met at Thessaloniki's indie circles, are heading from the capital city of north ever since with main aim to answer the rhetoric question "Could I ever want less?". The secret might be at this debut release as well. Watch this space.
